A gentle breeze plucked away the last few scarlett leaves from the nearly bleak trees, offering us plenty of leaves to crunch and toss into the crisp Autumn air. As the sun dipped below the Rockies, a warm glow lined the blue peaks and a few whispy white clouds began to form.
Addison twirled in the lush late-fall grass and Hayden proudly flaunted his high jump! I watched Addison embrace her little brother and it reminded me of long days in the yard chasing my little brother…or, more likely, him chasing me. Sometimes with a gardener snake in hand.
I’m lucky to live in such a magnificent setting and with such great neighbors such as the Thall family.
